Ignition Spark Test

Injector Connector:

- Disconnect injector connector.

WARNING: Without disconnection of injector connector, combustible gas may come out from spark plug holes during this test and may get ignited in engine room.

Checking For Spark:

- Remove spark plugs and connect them to the ignition wires.
- Ground threaded portion of spark plugs.
- Crank engine and confirm that spark exists at plugs.
If spark does not occur at any of the spark plugs, check;
^ Fuses
^ Ignition wires
^ Distributor cap
^ Distributor rotor
^ Distributor
^ Coil
^ Power unit (Ignitor)
^ ECM
