TPS Inspection

Unplug TPS connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance with selected shim thickness gauges between throttle stop screw and throttle lever. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 & 6. If TPS cannot be adjusted to obtain correct values at terminals "C" and "D", replace TPS.
