Manual Selector: Installation
- To install manual selector, reverse removal procedure. Tighten selector lever shaft nut to 13-16 ft. lbs. (18-22 N.m). Tighten housing nuts to 7-12 ft. lbs. (10-16 N.m).
- When installing knob, ensure there is slight clearance between detent pin and cam bottom when knob button is pushed in all the way. Check the following for proper selector operation:
- With knob button pushed in halfway, "N" to "R" and "D" to "2" shifts function.
- With knob button pushed in all the way, "2" to "L" and "R" to "P" shifts function.
- Ensure illumination light comes on when light switch is turned on.
