Power Steering Pump: Reassembly
To install, reverse removal procedure. See Fig 1 . Apply Suzuki ATF or Dexron-II ATF to all sliding surfaces. Install rotor on pump shaft with dent mark facing rear of pump. Coat vanes with ATF and install with rounded surface contacting cam ring. Coat "O" rings with ATF before installing. Ensure relief valve slides smoothly in bore. Tighten bolts and fittings to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
