Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain radiator, and disconnect 2 heater hoses from heater core. Remove console box. Disconnect wires and cables from heater unit and blower motor unit.
  2. Remove steering wheel, steering column unit and steering joint upper bolt. Disconnect speedometer cable, and remove speedometer assembly. Remove right and left speaker covers. Remove center cover garnish. Remove engine hood opener.
  3. Remove dashboard bolts and dashboard. Remove heater assembly bolts and nuts. Remove heater assembly. Remove heater assembly clips and screws to separate heater from housing. To install, reverse removal procedure.
