Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Remove Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor from intake manifold and place in water with a thermometer. Heat water to specified temperature and check resistance. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Replace sensor if resistance is not within specification.
