Park vehicle on level surface. Remove filler plug on side of transaxle case. Fluid level should be level with bottom of filler plug hole. Add fluid if necessary. Install and tighten filler plug to 33 ft. lbs. (45 N.m) on Metro or 97 INCH lbs. (11 N.m) on all others.
NOTE:
On Metro models, if transaxle fluid is changed, clean drain plug and apply sealant (GM 1052080) to plug threads. Tighten drain plug to 21 ft. lbs. (28 N.m).
