Coolant Temp. Switch Signal Circuit Check (4-Speed A/T)

Turn ignition on. With CC ECU connector disconnected, check voltage between ground and the CC ECU connector terminal No. 10. SeeFigure . With engine coolant temperature less than 77 F (25 C), 0-1 volt should be present. With engine coolant temperature greater than 86 F (30 C), 10-14 volts should be present. If voltage is not as specified, check wires and connectors of related circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair faulty wires or connectors as necessary.
