Valve Body Assembly: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure manual shift lever in transmission case aligns with manual valve of valve assembly. Connect throttle cable to cam.
- Loosely install appropriate bolts in correct positions. See Fig 1. Install valve assembly and tighten bolts to 84 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). Install oil tubes in proper order. See Figure. Install oil strainer and tighten bolts to 48 INCH lbs. (5.4 N.m). Ensure magnets are installed in oil pan. Install oil pan and tighten bolts to 48 INCH lbs. (5.4 N.m). Fill transmission with ATF to proper fluid level.
