CONDITION

Fluid leakage from transmission pan gasket.

CAUSE

Old pan gasket was reinstalled.

CORRECTION

Whenever transmission pan is removed, install a new gasket. See Fig 1 .

Be sure to replace the oil pan gasket whenever the oil pan is removed. Using the old gasket can cause fluid leakage.
