Grid Filament Repair
- If necessary, use razor blade or equivalent to remove small amount of silicone covering from damaged area, to expose grid line. Clean exposed broken grid line area with alcohol. Place masking tape along both sides of grid line area to be repaired. SeeFig 1 .
- Thoroughly mix small amount of repair agent and apply to grid line break area, overlapping both lines. After 2 minutes, carefully remove tape from line edges. DO NOT touch repaired area or operate defogger for 24 hours.
