Brake Pad: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.Fig. 1 Caliper Anti-Rattle Clip Removal:

2. Remove caliper anti-rattle clip, Figs. 1 and 2.
3. Remove caliper guide pin caps.
4. Using a 6 mm Allen wrench, remove caliper guide pins.
5. Remove pad protectors, then the caliper cylinder.
6. Remove brake pads.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten caliper bolts to specification.
b. Install wheel assemblies.
c. Lower vehicle and perform brake test.
