Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Checking Throttle Position Sensor:

- Disconnect battery negative cable at battery.
- Disconnect TPS coupler.

TPS Specifications:

- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between each terminals under each condition given in table.
- If idle switch check result is not satisfactory, adjust installation angle of TPS and if found defective in the other check, replace TPS.
- Connect TPS coupler securely.
- Connect battery negative cable.
