A/C System Performance

  1. Connect manifold gauge set to A/C compressor service fittings. Start engine and allow it to idle at 2000 RPM. Turn A/C on. Set blower lever to maximum speed, and temperature lever to cool position. Open all windows and doors.
  2. Insert dry bulb thermometer in cool air outlet. Thermometer should read 77-95°F (25-35°C). High pressure gauge reading should be 200-220 psi (14-15.5 kg/cm2 ).
