Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect alternator lead wires. Remove canister and canister mounting bracket. Remove alternator mounting bolts and drive belt adjusting bolt. Remove alternator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust belt. See BELT DEFLECTION SPECIFICATIONS  table under ADJUSTMENTS.
