Shift Solenoids: Installation

  1. Install grommet and solenoid wire harness to transmission case. Install direct clutch and 2nd brake solenoids to lower valve body. Install new shift solenoid "O" ring. Tighten shift solenoid bolts to 62-80 INCH lbs. (7-9 N.m).
  2. Install solenoid wires to each solenoid. Install oil pan and refill transmission fluid. Install solenoid wire coupler. Warm up transmission. Check for fluid level and leakage.
