Sidekick 3-Speed
- Remove console covers. Backdrive cable is adjusted at bracket, located near gearshift. Place ignition in ACC position.
- Loosen backdrive cable lock nut. See Fig 1
. Lift cable from bracket, but not from backdrive cam.

- Place gearshift in Park with release button on gearshift fully depressed. Align adjusting nut with bracket, with backdrive cable pulled tight. Rotate adjusting nut one revolution inward, away from backdrive cam. Tighten lock nut. Install console covers.
