Severe Conditions

Severe driving conditions are when vehicle is operated under one or more of the following conditions:
- Most driving is in stop-and-go traffic when outside temperatures are greater than 90° F (32° C).
- Delivery service, Taxi or Police vehicles.
- Trailer towing.
- In hilly or mountainous terrain.
- Most trips are less than 4 miles.
- Most trips are less than 10 miles, and outside temperatures remain below freezing.
- Driving in dusty areas.
