Daytime Running Light (DRL) System Fails To Stop

  1. If DRL system continues to operate after engine is turned off, check DRL controller and White/Red wire circuit. Replace DRL controller and/or repair circuit as necessary.
  2. If DRL system continues to operate after parking brake is applied, check parking brake switch. Check Violet/Green wire circuit. Replace parking brake switch and/or repair circuit as necessary.
  3. If DRL system continues to operate after headlight switch is turned on, check light switch. Check Green/Black wire circuit. Replace or repair light switch and/or repair wire circuit as necessary.
