Idle Speed & Ignition Timing

Ensure idle speed and base ignition timing are set to specification. If necessary, see ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.

⁽¹⁾	Idle speed specification is with transaxle or transmission in Neutral or Park.

⁽²⁾	A/C idle speed is adjusted by rotating adjusting screw on A/C Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV).

⁽⁴⁾	When ECM part number ends with number other than "0".
