Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle and drain transmission fluid. Remove oil pan bolts. Tap around oil pan lightly with a plastic hammer and wood block. Remove oil pan from transmission.
  2. DO NOT  force oil pan by using a flat tip screwdriver, as it may cause damage to mating surface. Remove old oil pan gasket thoroughly.
