Valve Body: Inspection
- Clean all parts with ATF. Clean all fluid passages and holes. Using compressed air, ensure passages or holes are clear.
- Inspect valves for scoring or roughness. Inspect valve springs for damage, squareness, rust and collapsed coils. Measure spring free length. See Figure and Figure . Replace spring if free length is not within specification. Valve body springs must be arranged with corresponding valve.
