Lower Control Arm & Ball Joint: Installation
- Install suspension arm on body, and finger tighten nuts and bolts. Install ball joint into steering knuckle clamp. Install ball joint pinch bolt so bolt head is toward front of vehicle.
- Tighten ball joint and both control arm bushings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. Install wheels and lower vehicle. Check wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT Section.
