TPS Inspection (SOHC A/T)

Unplug TPS connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals of TPS connector with proper shim thickness gauge inserted between throttle lever and throttle stop screw. Refer to the THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE (SOHC)  table. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
