Governor Assembly & Speedometer Drive Gear
- Turn transmission so that rear of case is upward. Lubricate governor hub seal rings with transmission fluid. Slide hub onto output shaft until it seats in case. Install snap ring into output shaft groove to lock hub in place.
- Install new governor body gasket. Install governor body to governor hub. Install and tighten attaching bolts.NOTE: Ensure governor valves move freely after governor body is installed on hub.
- Install speedometer drive gear retaining clip into hole in output shaft. While depressing retaining clip, slide drive gear over output shaft and onto retaining clip.
