To reduce gear noise when in reverse, use updated parts as listed in this bulletin

This bulletin is to inform you of the modification of the reverse idle gear and its related parts which have been carried out since the July 1992 production. These factory modifications were made to reduce gear noise in reverse gear. When replacing any of these parts, please use the parts as listed in this bulletin.

1. Thrust washer ---------- (outside diameter modified)
2. Needle bearing --------- (inside/outside diameter modified)
3. Reverse idler gear ----- (inside/outside diameter modified)
4. Reverse idler gear shaft (shape modified)
5. Bolt
6. Washer (aluminum)
7. Counter shaft reverse gear
8. Counter shaft 5th gear
9. Transmission lower case
