Bleeding Procedures
CAUTION:
DO NOT spill brake fluid on car, as it may damage paint. If brake fluid contacts paint, wash with water immediately
- Reservoir on master cylinder must be full at start of bleeding procedure. Attach cleat vinyl hose on to first bleed screw to be serviced. See BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Place other end of hose in clean, transparent container.
- With aid of assistant, slowly pump brake pedal several times, the apply steady pressure. Loosen brake bleed screw to allow air to escape from system until air bubbles are no longer visible in container. Tighten bleed screw securely. Proceed to next bleed screw. After bleeding brakes, depress brake pedal with a force equal to an abrupt stop. If sponginess exists, repeat bleeding procedure. Road test vehicle and check brake performance.

When bleeding hydraulic system, follow normal manual or pressure bleeding procedures. Bleed longest line first.
