Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove idler arm cotter pin and castle nut from center link. Remove idler arm from center link with Puller (09913-65210). Remover idler arm bushing nut. Remove idler arm and washers.
  2. Remove bushing from idler arm with press and Adapter (09943-88211). Install new bushing with press and Adapters (09943-88211 and 09940-53111). To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE  at end of article.
