Floor Shift (RWD Models)

  1. Disconnect shifter link from shifter assembly and place shifter assembly in Neutral notch of detent plate. See Fig 1.

  2. Place transmission lever in Neutral position by moving clockwise to maximum detent position, then back (counterclockwise) 2 detents to Neutral. Adjust link until hole and pin line up. Install shim and retainer.
