Oxygen Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Measuring Oxygen Sensor Heater Resistance:





- Disconnect sensor connector.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals "Vb" and "GND"

RESISTANCE VALUE
3.7 - 5.1 ohms at 23° C (73° F)

NOTE: Temperature varies resistance value greatly. Check resistance at specified temperature for accurate results.
