Engine Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
- Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
- Drain cooling system.
- Disconnect connector from WTS.
- Remove WTS from intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
- Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
- Clean mating surfaces of sensor and intake manifold.
- Use new gasket.
- Tighten WTS to specified torque.

SENSOR TORQUE
12.5 - 17.5 Nm (1.25 - 1.75 kg-m, 9.5 - 12.5 ft-lb)

- Connect connector to sensor securely.
- Refill cooling system.
