Bimetallic Vacuum Switching Valve

Disconnect both vacuum hoses from valve, located under intake manifold. When engine coolant is cold, ensure passage between valve ports is closed. When engine coolant is warm, ensure passage between valve ports is open.

WARNING: DO NOT  inhale air from solenoid valve or canister; fuel vapors may be harmful.
