Electric Load Sensor Diode: Testing and Inspection

Electric Load Signal Diode:

1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.

2. Disconnect coupler from diode.

The diode is installed on A/T control unit.

3. Remove diode from A/T control unit.

4. Check that there is continuity between terminals 6 and 7 only when battery is connected to terminals 1 and 7.


NOTE: Be sure to connect negative terminals of ohmmeter and battery to terminal 7. Otherwise, accurate operation check would be impossible.
