Upper Control Arms: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT tighten fasteners. Lower vehicle to ground and bounce vehicle to stabilize suspension. Raise and support vehicle with jack stands. Raise axle housing with jack until body is free from jack stands.
  2. Tighten bolts and nuts retaining control arms to body. Tighten bolts and nuts retaining control arm to axle housing. Tighten all remaining bolts and nuts to specification.
