Prizm (Adjustment)

  1. Depress accelerator pedal to floor. Ensure throttle valve opens fully. If not, adjust accelerator link. Fully depress accelerator pedal. Loosen throttle cable adjusting nuts. See Fig 1.
  2. Adjust cable housing so distance between end of boot and stopper on cable is 0-.04" (0-1 mm). Tighten adjusting nuts. Recheck adjustment.

NOTE: If new Prizm throttle valve cable is being installed, use the following procedure.
