Oil Pump: Inspection

Inspect all parts for wear or damage. Check pump body face-to-gear face clearance with feeler gauge and straightedge. Clearance should be .0008-.0035" (.020-.089 mm). Ensure 1/8" breather hole in pump cover is open.
