Removal & Installation - A/T: Swift: Installation

To install transaxle, apply grease around cup at center of torque converter and reverse removal procedure.
Ensure torque converter is correctly installed. Distance from torque converter drive lugs to engine mating surface of transaxle housing should be at least .84" (21.4 mm).
When installing transaxle, guide right axle into differential side gear as transaxle is being raised. After inserting inner CV joints of right and left axles into differential side gears, push inner joints into side gears until snap rings on axle shafts engage with side gears.
Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. Adjust all cables. See ADJUSTMENTS in SERVICING article. Fill and check fluid levels.
