Clutch Release Bearing: Sidekick

  1. Disconnect return spring from shaft fork. Remove clutch release bearing. Inspect release bearing for rough rotation, wear or damage. If necessary, replace bearing.
  2. Lightly lubricate release bearing with grease. Install clutch release bearing on transaxle retainer. Ensure bearing pads are located on fork ends (pads must be indexed) and both spring ends are in fork holes with spring completely seated in bearing groove.
