Removal & Installation (Swift)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove horn pad by pulling upward. Remove steering wheel nut. Remove steering wheel upper cover and disconnect horn connectors.
  2. Mark steering wheel and steering shaft for installation reference. Use Puller (09944-36010) to remove steering wheel from steering shaft. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at end of article.
