Removal & Installation (Samurai & Sidekick)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Pry horn pad from steering wheel. Remove steering wheel nut.
  2. Mark steering wheel and steering shaft for installation reference. Use Puller (09944-36010) to remove steering wheel from steering shaft.To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at end of article.
