Blower resistor is mounted in front lower blower motor housing. Disconnect wiring harness from resistor. Terminal identification numbers are molded into resistor block. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals "H" and LO. Resistance should be approximately 1.8 ohms. Check resistance between terminals "H" and M1. Resistance should be approximately 1.0 ohm. Check resistance between terminals "H" and M2. Resistance should be approximately 0.5 ohm. If resistance is not as specified, replace blower motor resistor.
