Removal & Installation

  1. Discharge A/C system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. On Samurai and Sidekick, remove front grille. On all models, disconnect refrigerant hose(s) from condenser fittings. On Samurai and Sidekick, remove condenser fan and condenser. On Swift, disconnect receiver-drier outlet pipe above condenser cooling fan.
  2. Remove hood latch and lock assembly. Disconnect fan motor wiring harness. Remove condenser, cooling fan, and receiver-drier as an assembly. Remove cooling fan and receiver-drier from condenser. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation. Evacuate, recharge and check system for leaks.
