1	Hood Strut Rod WARNING: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Tips Prop the hood before removing the strut. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to release the retaining tabs on the strut rod.
