Shudder on Acceleration at Low Speed

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - SHUDDER ON ACCELERATION AT LOW SPEED CAUSES

Cause Correction
When accelerating the vehicle at low speed a shudder occurs.
Bolts are loose or missing at the flanges. Replace and/or tighten bolts to specified torque. Refer to FASTENER TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS - PROPELLER SHAFT .
The universal joint is worn. Replace the universal joint. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT .
