Disc & Drum: Description

The hydraulically operated brake system uses a tandem master cylinder, with a vacuum assisted power brake booster and single piston, sliding caliper disc brakes. Swift GT has 4-wheel power disc brakes. Samurai, Sidekick and other Swift models have self-adjusting rear drum brakes. All models have cable actuated rear parking brakes.
