Ignition Switch & Column Lock: Installation

Install column lock on steering column with NEW shear bolts. Ensure alignment mark on column lock aligns with indent in steering shaft. SeeFig 1 and Fig 2 .

Insert column through floorboard into "U" joint. Install upper bracket retaining bolts. Install column-to-floorboard retaining bolts. Tighten column bracket bolts. Connect all electrical connections. Tighten "U" joint clamp bolt. Tighten column-to-floorboard retaining bolts.

NOTE: Manufacturer recommends removing steering column before removing steering column lock.
