Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect Air Temperature Sensor connector.
3. Remove Air Temperature Sensor from intake manifold.
4. Clean intake manifold and ATS mating surfaces.
5. On all except Swift, install ATS with new gasket, torque to 25.5--39.5 ft.lbs.
6. On Swift, install ATS with new gasket, torque to 9.5--12 FT.lbs.
