TPS Inspection (DOHC)

Unplug TPS connector. Using ohmmeter, check continuity with selected shim thickness gauges between throttle stop screw and throttle lever. See Figure and Figure . See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE table. If TPS sensor cannot be adjusted to obtain the correct values at terminals "C" and "D", replace TPS sensor.
