Oil Pressure Warning Light

Light comes on as a bulb check the ignition switch in turned on, it should go out when the engine is started. Indicates insufficient oil pressure. Always shut engine off and check engine oil level if light comes on. If oil level is low, add oil before starting engine. If oil level is okay have vehicle serviced immediately. Operating vehicle when oil light is lit may result in extensive engine damage.
