Input Shaft Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove RH bearing using Bearing Puller (Geo J22912-01) and press. See Figure. Press off 5th gear spacer, LH bearing and 4th gear together using bearing puller. Remove 4th gear needle bearing, high speed synchronizer ring and snap ring.
  2. Using press and bearing puller (flat side up), remove high speed synchronizer sleeve, hub assembly and 3rd gear. Remove 3rd gear needle bearing, synchronizer sleeve and hub assembly.
